Iran: Ghazvin-Rasht railroad project workers stage a protest

Workers of the Ghazvin-Rasht railroad project in the Iranian city of Roodbar, protested the nonpayment of their salaries, in front the municipality building in Roodbar, on the morning of December 21.
According to the workers who participated in this demonstration, the contracting company that is responsible to build 14 kilometers of this railway, has not paid their salaries for the past 5 months.
One of the workers said: “if our demands are not met, we will continue our protest on a larger scale.”
