In Mahabad, workers of the Industrial Plantation Complex gathered in front of the entrance gate, despite severe cold and icy weather. They were protesting against 16 months of delay in receiving their salaries.
In Abhar, a group of workers from the Golrees Company demonstrated against 9 months of delay in receiving their salaries.
Also in Gachsaran, about 70 doctors and nurses from the Rajai hospital protested in front of the hospital, against a one-year delay in the payment of their salaries. The hospital’s surgery room and the clinic were shut down due to the demonstration by the specialized doctors and nurses.
