Iran MP: many are desperate to make ends meet

Iranian MP Mohammad Hossein Ghorbani made shocking remarks on Sunday, December 4th, making it clear how the Iranian people are in desperate economic conditions.
“In our society there are many who are desperate just to make ends meet. We have educated youths in our society who are still in need of money from their father, who himself is in need of state rations,” he said.
“I call on the government, Central Bank and the Economy Minister to present a program on how to fix bank interest rates and financial punishments that have grounded our production. Today the banks have become greedier than anyone else,” Ghorbani continued.
