Akbar Ranjbarzadeh, a member of the Iranian parliament board of directors, threatened Iran will restart its nuclear activities. This was in response to the U.S. Congress adopting a bill extending sanctions on Iran for another 10 years.
“We have a 3rd level urgency bill on schedule to restart the nuclear activities to respond to America’s measures,” he said.
“Article 160 of the parliament charters says 2nd level urgency bills are presented to prevent any damages. We are seeking to present a 3rd level urgency bill to prevent the definite damages the country will most definitely suffer. We are taking urgent actions to respond to measures taken recently by the Americans, especially the Senate,” Ranjbarzadeh added.
