International Experts: No Change in Iranian Attitude after the Nuclear Deal

Some experts in Washington have agreed that the Iranian attitude did not change after signing the nuclear deal, adding that Iran is still one of the countries sponsoring terrorism.
This agreement will not treat the trust issue between Tehran and Washington, according to the experts.

Dr Ahmed Al-Hamli, the President of Trends Research and Advisory, said during a seminar that despite the importance of the nuclear deal there are still concerns towards Iran actions in the region.
The seminar stressed the necessity of reinforcing and supporting the deal to enhance security in the region and to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon that might cause more instability in the region.
“In case the U.S. is serious about the region’s stability and security then it should cooperate with its allies especially the Gulf countries that are neighbors to Iran… We should not forget that Iran is still listed by the U.S. government as a terrorism sponsoring country,” said Hamli.
He added that the Iranian attitude is a violation of the international law that prevents interfering in international affairs of other countries—Iran’s attitude also contradicts with the international efforts to combat terrorism.
Lincoln Bloomfield, chairman of the Stimson Center, highlighted a dire need to understand the motivations behind the Iranian attitude. Bloomfield said, “We, in the U.S., need strategy, solidity and unity in Washington.”
He described the years following the revolution in Iran as “decisive years” when Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini presented his constitution and was supported by clerks to take over the administration and impose his dictatorship in Iran.
“It’s essential that we know that this regime fears its’ nation,” added Bloomfield.
