On the verge of the hearing sessions of the U.S. Congress, in an interview with Fox News T.V. top U.S. commander in Iraq Gen. David H. Petraeus said the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, Kazemi Qomi is a well known member of the Qods force.
Speaking about Iranian interferences and destructive role in Iraq Gen. Petraeus pointed out the Qods force role in directing the militias as well as training, arming, equipping and funding them.
Answering a question whether the law allows him to stop Iranian regime’s activities, Gen. Petraeus replied “we are permitted to do anything needed inside Iraq.”
