Warplanes kill 9 more people raising the casualties of today to 23

Lack of vascular specialist cause more casualties


 


Aleppo Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, September 25, 2016 – Nine more citizens at least were killed when warplanes carried out more airstrikes again on Sunday afternoon, targeting the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city. The strike killed 9 people in the neighborhoods of al-Myassar, Tariq al-Bab and al-Ansari, and injuring dozens more. Many others are also missing feared to be under the rubbles of the destroyed buildings in the neighborhoods of al-Myassar, Ansari, Al-Jazmati, Tariq al-Bab, Bostan al-Qasr, Bab al-Nairab, Salahuddin, al-Ferdus, Masaken Hanano, Al-Jazmati, Qadi Askar and Bostan al-Basha.
The death toll is expected to rise because there are some of the injuries are critical and there are many others still missing under the rubbles. The rescue teams are trying to recover the trapped people from under the rubbles. Medical sources have informed the activists of the Syrian Observatory for human rights that the relief works have become very difficult, due to the lack of medical equipment, medicine and other lifesaving materials.
In the eastern part of the city, people are suffering due the lack of vascular specialist surgeons, which led to the death of civilians because doctors of other specialties were unable to save some of them. This rose the total number of casualties to 23, including at least 2 children documented by the Syrian Observatory for human rights. The number of casualties are expected to rise due to severity of injures and many still missing.
