Iraqi Protesters Burn Khomeini and Khamenei pictures

Baghdad – Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported on Saturday 11 June 2016 that Iraqis protesters torched the photos of Khomeini and Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei in southern Iraq.
Council member of one of the southern districts of Iraq told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that the protesters targeted offices of factions and parties affiliated with Iran.
The council member, who preferred to remain anonymous, said protesters also burned the photos of the leaders of the Islamic republic.
