AMMAN (Jordan Times) May 15, 2016 - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh is scheduled to attend an international meeting in Vienna on Monday to push for stability in Libya, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meeting is to be attended by more than 20 foreign ministers and several regional and international senior officials seeking concerted efforts to help stabilize the situation in divided Libya.
On Tuesday, Judeh is scheduled to attend a meeting for the international group to support Syria, according to Petra.
Participants are to discuss steps that can be taken by the group to ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into all besieged areas in Syria nonstop and without a limited timeframe.
They will also discuss progress in efforts towards a political solution to the five-year Syrian crisis, where hundreds of thousands of people have been killed.
The international group to support Syria includes Jordan, the US, Russia, France, the UK, Germany, Italy, China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq, in addition to the United Nations, the European Union, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
