The report with satellite images show locations inside Syria where branches of the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) including its armored units and the Iranian Regular Army (including Green Berets) are based.
According to the report, the Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei has ordered the clerical regime to dispatch the ‘Regular Army – its Green Berets to Syria.’
The intelligence report is titled ‘Khamenei’s plan to capture Aleppo with the [Islamic] Revolutionary Guards [Corps] (IRGC)’ and also includes a detailed organizational chart of Iranian military personnel involved.
The report picks out the regime’s possible weak points, detailing that on October 7, 2015 the IRGC ‘suffered a major blow’ when IRGC Brig. Gen. Hossein Hamedani was killed near Aleppo.
Brig. Gen. Hossein Hamedani had been the commander of all the Iranian regime’s forces in Syria. The deaths of other generals also feature in the commands’ structure.
A former commander of the Iran-Iraq war, IRGC Major Gen. Mohsen Rezai has been chosen as an advisor or the battles in Syria, by Khamenei.
Outlining how the Iran regime continues to prop-up the weakened hold that al-Assad’s has over the Syrian people, the intelligence report has this to say; ‘the Syrian army is so weakened that it cannot control areas of the country which are under Bashar al-Assad’s rule. As such the IRGC has taken over the military control of the country.’
The intelligence, compiled by the reliable networks inside the Iranian clerical regime of the main opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK), has been confirmed by sources including the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
