Member of the European Parliament from Slovenia, Mr. Milan Zver urged European governments to support the Iranian Resistance as the best alternative to the theocratic mullahs’ regime of Iran.
In a message he wrote: “My dear Iranian friends, as a Member of the European Parliament, I have followed the situation in Iran for many years. I believe that as long as the mullahs are in power there will be no freedom for the Iranian people. More than 2300 people have been executed since this so-called ’moderate’ president Rouhani took office.
This regime is not just the enemy of its own people, but has been active in sponsoring terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism to other countries, and is fully supporting Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Recently we had the opportunity to listen to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi at the European Parliament. Many of my colleagues went to listen to her speech, and she was warmly received. We share her views on Iran, and we call on our European governments to have dialogue with this opposition as they are the best alternative to this regime. Let us all work for a free Iran.”
