Why the deliberate overlook by the West of Iran’s dangerous intentions?
Recent missile launches by Iran have been in serious violation of numerous United Nations Security Council resolutions. However, Western countries continue their appeasement policy of attempting to downgrade the importance of such measures.

liveleak.com, 19 March 2016 – One can easily recall how the Obama administration and their bandwagon Democrats were running across Congress praising how celebratory the Iran nuclear deal was. The results are frustrating many these days, and proven Iran has failed to change any tactics. Strange, however, is why the West is not listening.
Those concerned, Republicans and a few Democrats alike, argued Iran should not be trusted to comply with the deal. Imagining Iran getting its hands on a windfall
of $100 billion for terrorism objectives was, and is, rightfully haunting. We are dealing with a regime whose fanatic leaders wrongfully claim to represent God on Earth, and to have instructions to annihilate the “Great Satan” and wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. The recent missile tests by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards showed Iran has dangerous intentions in mind. So why is the West deliberately ignoring?
“The longer ends of that range appear to exceed limits that the U.N. Security Council has imposed in connection to resolutions banning Iran from developing missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads,” The Washington Post reported. Obviously, Iran claims its missiles are for defensive purposes and denies any designs to deliver nuclear weapons. The mullahs in Iran also deceptively, not to mention wrongly, claim the Koran permits one to lie to infidels in pursuit of their rightful goals. All true Muslims would agree this is far from the truth.
A startling, and rightfully worrisome denial, was heard from a Washington spokesman claiming to actually be unaware of any such missile launch. This is while network TV stations were airing launch images provided by Iran state TV itself. “It’s important that Iran lives up to its obligations under the deal,” the spokesman only managed to say. This will do anything but strike fear in those sitting on the throne in Tehran.
“Israel must be wiped out,” was the message carried by two ballistic missiles test-fired by Iran recently. At least it’s good to know the mullahs openly show their intentions. Unfortunately, diplomats across the spectrum are not willing to take such actions seriously.
Sanctions could be reinstalled if Iran crossed its objectives under the agreement, U.S. President Barack Obama had reassured. However, this has proven to be ineffective considering the fact that billions have already been deposited into Tehran accounts. There is also no will seen to impose meaningful sanctions. This has raised the voice of certain high-profile former Obama colleagues. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on her way to obtaining the Democratic presidential candidacy said recently Iran should face sanctions for these activities and the international community must demonstrate the mullahs’ threats will not be tolerated.
