Iran: youths in Tehran clash with repressive police during Fire Festivities

At 9 pm local time on Tuesday, March 15th in Tehran a group of brave youths reportedly attacked the repressive police after a friend of theirs was illegally arrested. The youths used handmade sound grenades and delivered a severe beating to the repressive police, forcing them to flee the scene.
The police then resorted to dispatching their armed vehicle unit to the scene of the clash near the Abdol Abad metro station, only to see the youths had already left the site. Two members of the police were injured and transferred to a hospital.
