EXCLUSIVE REPORTS FROM MAJOR IRANIAN CITIES ON FEAST OF FIRE CELEBRATIONS

Iran, Shiraz; Clashes have erupted between the youth and State Security guards
Shiraz, 1800 local time

As the night sets in in Iran, the passionate and exciting youth closed their neighborhood streets with fire crackers and bonfire jumping over the fire to hold the celebrations. The event led to clashes with the police and State Security forces.

Gohardasht, Karaj, 1855 local time;

 

 

 

Exclusive reports indicate that the streets have turned in to some kind of war zones with youth firing crackers and the police being unable to prevent them.

Tehran at 1830:

 

In Monireh district, people reported of hearing sounds of firebombs and crackers, where the noise are getting louder toward the nightfall.

Tehran at 1750,

 

 

 

Sabalan St. and intersection few blocks away from the Imam Hossein Hospital, the sound of firecracker can be heard.

Tehran at 1815,

 

 

 

In Tarasht dist. in Tehran, the youth have been holding the fire festival celebrations. The neighborhood has turned in to jubilant place and the sound of squibs can be heard from a distance.

Tehran at 1900,

 

 

 

Sattar-khan Blvd is another scene of celebrations with youth jumping over the fire chanting anti-regime slogans. Cars and automobiles honk their horns in support of the jubilant youths.

Urumiah, West Azerbaijan at 1700,

 

 

Many youth are taking in to the streets and in front of the city hall in defiance of the authorities who are trying to prevent the young people from having their celebrations. Firecrackers and bonfires are all over the streets.

 

Qazvin, at 1820,

 

Youth are taking part in the Feast of Fire Celebration by gathering in front of the main railroad station and Shohada (martyrs) Blvd.
Eyewitness report says the sound of squibs and firecrackers can be heard all around.

Alborz, at 1830,

 

 

 

The Andisheh Township has also joined the festivities. The youth are lighting up bonfires and jumping over the fire.

Mashhad at 1745,

 

Youth took part in the celebration in Khayyam St. where sound of firecracker and squibs can be heard in the area.
