Iran: taxi drivers on strike in Tehran

A group of taxi drivers rallied and protested the government not providing their insurance pensions. This rally was held on March 2nd outside the Taxi Drivers Insurance Building in Tehran’s Malak Avenue.
These drivers are saying it has been nearly four months since their pensions have been cut off, yet no official is providing any answers in this regard. A number of these drivers and their family members are ill and in dire need of health care, but unfortunately none of these drivers’ insurance booklets are extended.
