Iran: sugar cane workers continue protests

February 27th – Haft Tappe – Workers of the Haft Tappe Sugar Cane Industries have been protesting the Iranian regime’s privatization policies since February 22nd and continuing their rallies on Saturday, February 27th.
These fed up workers said the manager of the privatization branch hasn’t come and he has already failed to pay the paychecks of over 1,500 workers. No government official is saying a word either, they added.
