Saturday, February 20th marked the first day of elections campaigning for the few selected candidates in Iran’s sham twin elections scheduled to be held on Friday, February 26th. As various candidates placed various posters and images of their campaigns across various cities, it didn’t take long for people to show their anger as many posters were seen torn apart.
A large number of posters were torn apart by storeowners in Tehran’s Rey Avenue.
