Washington, D.C. – Feb 12, 2016 –House Speaker Paul Ryan signed the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 (H.R. 757) to step up financial pressure on the Kim regime after its recent nuclear test and long-range missile launch. The bill, authored by Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA), now heads to President Obama’s desk after passing both the House and the Senate with overwhelming bipartisan support.
