Iran: inmate in the IRGC prison are banned from having visitors

A Political prisoner who was transferred to ward 2A of Evin Prison (controlled by the Revolutionary Guards) in mid-October, has not been able to visit his family ever since. This political prisoner was transferred from Rajaie Shahr Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran, on October 21 and placed in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. Reports indicate the case of this prisoner has been referred to branch 26 of Tehran’s “revolution” court, yet there is no information about the charges raised against him.
Yazdan-nezhad is an interpreting student in Payam-e Nour University who was initially arrested by Ministry of Intelligence on September 10, 2007.
