A new bail of 100 million rials (around $3,000) has been issued for Narges Mohammadi following the opening of a new charges against her for complaining about the agents who transferred her to prison.
Prior to this and during her transfer to prison Mohammadi had sent letters complaining and protesting what she described as improper behavior by prison guards during her transfer to prison.
This civil activist and human rights prisoner, suffering from emboli and muscular paralysis, was arrested by security-judiciary authorities on May 5 without any prior summoning by the judiciary apparatus. She has remained behind bars ever since despite her deteriorating health condition.
