According to Al-Iraqiya TV on February 23, following the remarks of some of the Iranian regime’s officials on Bahrain, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry announced its solidarity with Bahrain and expressed Iraq’s standing beside Arabic consensus for supporting Bahrain and opposition to meddling in its internal affairs.
Al-Iraqiya TV added: The statement of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry expressed its solidarity with Bahrain Kingdom and its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity; the statement declared that this position came afer the remarks of some of the Iranian regime’s officials.
The statement said: On the side of Arab community, Iraq supports Bahrain, its government and people and rejects meddling in its internal affairs and respects the will of that country’s people.
