A large gathering of Iranian dissidents in Paris against Rouhani’s visit

PARIS, 28 January 2016 – Iranians are taking part in a large demonstration at Denfert-Rochereau Square in the center of Paris on Thursday to protest the visit by Hassan Rouahni, the president of clerical regime.
The historic Denfert-Rochereau Square hosts thousands of people waving yellow signs and three colored Iranian flag call for end to executions in Iran. They hold signs reading: “No to Rouhani.”


They are carrying signs in French and Persian languages reading: ‘ No to Rouhani’, ‘ Stop Executions in Iran’ , ‘ Rouhani is not representing Iranians.’
The arrival in Paris of Hassan Rouhani  has been met with a wave of protests by Iranians. They held a protest on Wednesday before the arrival of Hassan Rouhani in Paris, Reuters television reported.
European politicians and members of French National Assembly are among the speakers. The first speaker was Mr. Struan Stevenson, the former head of the Delegation for Relations with Iraq at the European Parliament.
Mrs. Rama Yade, former French Human Rights Minister said in her speech in this rally: “It is the responsibility of us to tell the French people that Hassan Rouhani is not a ‘moderate’.”
As the clerical regime president visits Europe, photos of Syrian children have been circulated with posters calling on Hassan Rouhani to stop his intervention in their country’s affair.
The Independent publishing the photos wrote that the anti-regime activists have said the Iranian regime’s support for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad is resulting civilian deaths in Syria.
