Iran-affiliated special force commander killed by Iraqi forces

Asharqiya TV reported on February 5, 2009 that the Iraqi security forces announced that a key militia commander affiliated with the Iranian regime had been killed during a conflict in the city of Diwaniya.

The TV said: This person who was named Tariq Adhab, a.k.a. Ibn al-Baqdadiya, was one of the special groups’ commander who was killed by the Iraqi forces while tried to escape his hideout.

He had returned recently from Iran and was trained some compressed training in one of the Qods force training camps; because of committing murder and IED planting, he was under prosecution since while ago.
