According to Al-Arabiya TV on December 24, 2008, the Omani government announced that it will not invite the Iranian regime’s President to the Persian Gulf session which is supposed to be held in Oman next week.
Yusef Ben Alavi, Omani Foreign Minister, said: “Contrary to the previous session of the Gulf Cooperation Council session in Doha, Ahmadinejad will not be invited in this session.”
