Iran under the mullahs’ rule has the highest rate of growing cancer cases in the world.
“Iran has the highest rate of escalating cancer cases in the world,” said Mohammad Ismaeel Akbari, head of the Cancer Research Center in Iran.
Based on the statistics presented by this center each year 90,000 new cancer cases are reported throughout Iran, indicating an increasing rate of cancer across the country. 2.5% of individuals suffering from various types of cancer in Iran are diagnosed under the age of 11.
Each year 10,000 more women are suffering from cancer, Akbar added.
The state-run IRNA news agency cited this research center saying stomach cancer is one of the lethal cases of cancer amongst Iranian men and women. Advanced countries have already taken measures years ago to prevent the growing rate of this illness.
