Iraq: demonstrators request support from Ayatollah al-Sistani

Organizers of demonstrations the Iraqi cities of Baghdad, Karbala, Babol and Najaf have called on Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani to hold talks with the government for the protection of demonstrations on Friday, al-Baghdadiya TV reported.
These organizers said they seek an increase in demonstrations in the coming days and the release of abducted organizers as soon as possible.
