We have gathered to promote Human rights, democracy and freedom for Iran: Former US Energy Secretary, Bill Richardson says

Former US Energy Secretary and the US permanent representative to the UN Bill Richardson said at the gathering of the Iranian American scholars and youth that the three significant words of Human rights, Democracy and Freedom is what the Iranian regime is ignorant of.
Mr. Richardson stressed that Iranian regime is supporting terrorism. During the Rouhani’s tenor, more than 2,000 people have been executed. Since the beginning of this year more than 700 have been hanged, women have been attacked by acid. There is no free parliament, no free press and no free election. This is not only the opposition’s claim, all of these have been marked and recorded by the international human rights organizations.
Americans must line up behind this movement and alternative. An international effort must be organized to tackle Iranian regime terrorism.
Mr. Richardson added this regime in Iran is the most active international supporter of terrorism. This regime violates the rights of its own people. It uses execution and hanging to intimidate and the people, but the Iranian people would continue their struggle for freedom and democracy under the banner of Iranian Resistance. The Resistance has many friends and supporters among great American personalities and dignitaries. The future belongs to the Iranian people and their Resistance.
