Iran official lies about nature of IAEA chief inspecting suspicious Parchin site

Ala’ddin Borujerdi, chair of the national security commission in Iran’s so-called parliament lied in an interview on Monday with Tehran’s Arab language “al-Alam” TV station on the nature of the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano’s visit to the suspicious Parchin nuclear military site.
“Amano saw from up close that if there was a bulldozer at the site it was due to landslides and the construction work was for repairs,” he ridiculously claimed.
However, Amano said in a press conference in Vienna on Monday after returning from Iran that he was able to enter a building that the IAEA had seen through satellite imagery that signs of renovation work had been conducted there.
The IAEA said recently that satellite imagery had shown the presence of vehicles, equipment and probable construction materials at the site, which US media reported as being suspicious.
