UNHCR concerned about Hungarian police attitude towards asylum seekers

The United Nations Refugee Agency has expressed deep concerns about Hungarian police resorting to violence against asylum seekers on the Serbia border.
Hungarian police on Wednesday closed its borders on asylum seekers using tear gas, pepper spray and special vehicles equipped with water cannons.
These asylum seekers, mostly from Syria and Iraq, are seeking to find their way to Austria and Germany through Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia.
