Yemen: UAE military forces advance in Ma’rib Province

UAE military forces in Yemen, as part of the Arab coalition in this country, have made advances in the oil-rich Ma’rib Province and 1 UAE soldier has been killed, the country’s official news agency reported on Monday.
Popular resistance forces and National Yemen Army troops, with support provided by Arab coalition forces, have taken control over hilltops overlooking the Jafina and Faw fronts. Therefore, routes used by the Houthi rebels have been blocked and came under the full control of popular resistance forces.
Moreover, Arab coalition warplanes were also seen pounding Houthi positions in southwestern areas of Ma’rib and also a number of positions in the capital, Sana’a.
