US VP Praises Reforms by Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Abadi of Iraq

The White House issued a statement on US Vice President Joe Biden praising Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi for his reforms.
“The Vice President spoke with Iraq’s Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi today to underscore continued U.S. support for the fight against ISIL in Iraq. The Vice President commended Prime Minister Al-Abadi for his leadership and commitment to reforms in Iraq intended to improve Iraq’s political unity, security, and economic prosperity. Both leaders discussed the importance of urgently addressing the humanitarian challenges confronting Iraqis and reaffirmed their commitment to the strategic partnership between the United States and Iraq.”
