The amount of dust in the skies of Abadan in southwest Iran rose to 66 times above the standard level on Tuesday, September 8th, incoming reports indicate.
“From 10 pm Tuesday night the amount of dust in the air in this city reached 10,000 micrograms per cubic meter, meaning more than 66 times above the standard level,” said the head of Abadan Environment Department.
He called on the people to refrain from unnecessary commuting.
