Lebanon: youth movement take over Environment Ministry building

The Lebanese Army dispatched its forces to the Ministry of Environment building following the occupation of the complex by the “You Stink” youth movement.
Lebanese youths are demanding the minister to step down. With the 72-hour deadline given to the government coming to an end, this movement is calling on the Lebanese people to rally at the Environment Ministry building.
On Monday the Environment Minister stepped down as chair of the trash crisis committee and Prime Minister Tammam Salam appointed the Agriculture Minister to lead this committee.
