An airstrike conducted by Assad warplanes near Damascus on a fruit market in the city of Duma left over 110 civilians killed and nearly 300 others wounded, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, August 16th citing urban defense teams.
It is said that most of the victims are women and children. This vicious attack was carried out with four missiles fired at the fruit market where a large number of people were present.
Most of the market was destroyed in this airstrike and urban defense teams are attempting to save the people despite seriously running short on supplies.
