State affiliated media reported State Security Forces have initiated a new plan to confront “silk mantuas”.
“This special observatory plan is concentrated on the sale of silk mantuas and will continue until further notice. In this plan the clothing union will seriously deal with any retailer and store that sells such clothing,” said clothing union advisor Mohammad Javad Sadeghami.
The SSF issues new regulations every summer regarding women’s clothing and methods of dealing with them.
On a daily basis 20 search and inspection patrols are carried out by the clothing union in Tehran, according to Sadeghamiz.
