Ma’sume Ebtekar, head of the Environment Protection Organization referred to the uncontrolled use of expired and illegal poisons in agriculture fertilizer.
“This has led to poison being found in the country’s water and soil,” she said.
In July of this year the UN Food and Agriculture Organization representative in Iran emphasized on the necessity to manage the use of chemical poisons in this country in order to protect the environment.
