The inhumane mullahs’ regime carried out the inhumane verdict of amputating the right hand and left foot of a prisoner in Mashhad, northeastern Iran.
“The verdict of the second Mashhad bank thief was carried out in this city’s Central Prison. This individual has been identified by the name of Mehdi. R.,” state-run dailies reported on Wednesday, August 5th.
On August 4th the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran issued a statement saying the Iranian Resistance called on the international community, especially the European Union, United States and all international human rights organizations to firmly condemn the brutal punishment of amputating a hand and foot of two prisoners in Mashhad Central Prison (northeast Iran), emphasizing the continuation of this inhumane regime’s crimes – including intensifying mass and arbitrary executions reaching over 50 cases just in the past week, and vicious punishments such as amputating hands and feet of prisoners – must be referred to the United Nations Security Council and senior regime officials have to face justice. The actions of the regime’s supreme leader, president, parliament speaker, judiciary chief and other senior officials in the past 37 years are the most vivid examples of crimes against humanity in today’s world.
