Popular resistance forces in Yemen declared they have completely taken over all areas of rebels and units Lahij Province and pushed Houthi loyal to Ali Abdullah Salah, Al Arabiya reported on Tuesday.
Heavy clashes between popular resistance forces and Houthi militants were reported in the northern areas of the city. While popular resistance forces are advancing reports indicate Houthi militants and Salah forces are launching barrages of heavy fire on residential areas.
It is said officers of the units loyal to Ali Abdullah Salah have refused to enter the battles in Aden, Lahij and Ma’rib and various reports show defections and desertions amongst their ranks and files.
Popular resistance forces in Yemen also declared that after taking over the strategic Anad airbase, they have now seized the Labozah military base in the Lahj province and have killed dozens of Houthi militias, Al Jazeera reported on Monday, August 3rd.
