Bahrain Propaganda Minister Issa Abdul-rahman al-Hamadi said Tehran will not end its meddling in the internal affairs of Arabic countries.
“The positions adopted by the fascist regime in Iran have not changed since the 1980s. This regime causes anarchy and war in the Persian Gulf, while much of the people’s wealth in the region are wasted due to this regime’s expansionist demands that are not in the region’s interests,” he said in an interview with Sky News on Sunday, July 26.
“Tehran is behind many problems in the region,” he added.
In the meantime, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced authorities have neutralized an attempt by Iran to smuggle very dangerous explosives, automatic weapons and ammo through the sea into Bahrain, arresting two individuals in the process. As the two admitted, they had been trained in Iran, Al-Jazeera reported.
