The state-run Fars news agency reported an individual by the initials of A.N., a known activist in the town of Saman in Chahar Mahal & Bakhtiari Province in southwestern Iran has been arrested. He was apprehended for providing books, booklets and pamphlets about the ‘Erfan Halghe’ sect to his students.
Mohammad Ali Taheri, the leader of this sect has been in prison for about five years now and his case is still pending in court.
