Yemen: popular forces retake Aden presidential palace

In Yemen attacks by popular resistance forces aimed at retaking Ma’ashiq Heights in Aden left nearly 20 Houthis and Ali Abdallah Salah loyalists killed, Al Jazeera TV reported on Thursday.
Ma’ashiq is a region where a presidential palace is located and Yemen’s president resides there. Houthi rebels and Salah loyalists were using the site as their refuge in Aden.
In other news, attacks launched by Arab coalition warplanes left an armored vehicle belonging to the Houthis destroyed near this country’s borders with Saudi Arabia. This attack left seven Houthis and Salah loyalists killed.
Eyewitnesses said this armored vehicle was attempting to enter Saudi soil when it was targeted by Arab coalition warplanes and completely destroyed with all the seven rebels inside.
