Yemen: 26 Republican Guard officers surrender to legitimate government

Popular resistance forces in Yemen staged an attack on Houthi rebels and Ali Abullah Salah loyalists in various fronts and inflicted severe casualties, Al Arabiya reported on July 18th.
21 militants were killed in one region alone and resistance forces in the Jomhouri district made new advances, sources in the resistance said.
Moreover, 26 Republican Guard officers – former supporters of Yemen’s ousted dictator Salah – surrendered themselves to the Kariter district of Aden.
