The Iranian regime has built a new prison near Tehran. This prison is named the ‘Greater Tehran Prison’. In this regard Sohrab Soleimani, director general of all prisons and security-prohibition measures in Tehran said around 3,500 prisoners from Evin and Rajaie Shahr prisons have been transferred to Greater Tehran.
“A portion of the prisoners in Evin and Rajaie Shair prisons will be transferred to the Greater Tehran Prison after the month of Ramadan at most,” he said.
“After two other phases the Greater Tehran Prison will be up and running before March 2016,” Soleimani added.
