Iran: protests rallies reported from large number of cities + images

In the past few days many cities in Iran have witnessed numerous protest rallies staged by people from all walks of life.
In Tehran, a number of Gandhi Diplomatic Hospital nurses, stationery retailers in Hassan Abad Square, Environment Organization employees and Karaj slaughterhouse workers staged different protests and tore down the Iranian regime’s so-called Quds (Jerusalem) Day rally billboards.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, a number of youths in Pardis district rallied on Friday, July 10th protesting the regime’s Quds Day rallies and tore down posters marking this day.


 


In further rallies and gatherings seen across Iran, teachers, people who have lost their savings and taxi drivers staged protests in the northeastern city of Mashhad.
 


 


 



 



 



 
 


A group of college students in Chahbahar also held a rally protesting poor campus conditions.


 


Furthermore, in the city of Talesh nurses held rallies protesting various policies adopted by the Health Ministry. This rally was held outside the hospital’s emergency entrance.


On Thursday, July 9th a rally staged by residents of Sanandaj, western Iran, protested and condemned a blaze that destroyed many jungle areas. The protesters demanded those responsible to be arrested.


 


Workers of the Shahr-e Babak Khatoun Abad copper mill continued their strike on Sunday, July 12th.
 



Nurses across Iran issued a statement announcing protest rallies to be held on July 31st.


Teachers in Mashhad also placed a call for protest rallies on July 22nd outside the regime’s so-called parliament in Tehran.
 



Hundreds of nurses and medical staff of Fatemi Hospital in the city of Ardebil staged a rally on July 12th protesting their job conditions.


 


Nurses of a hospital in the city of Behbahan protested discrimination and their low paychecks. This rally was staged on Saturday, July 11th.
 



On Thursday and Saturday, July 9th and 11th, people the cities of Ahvaz and Dezful staged numerous protest rallies, including workers of the Village Communications Department and locals of a village near Ahvaz who protested a recent water shortage crisis.
