Funeral procession of the former Saudi top diplomat at the Grand Mosque in Mecca

The body of the late Prince Saud al-Faisal was laid to rest on Sunday the in Grand Mosque of the holy city of Mecca following the prayer at his gravesite.
His body was transferred from a hospital in the United States hours prior to the burial ceremony.
A huge crowd had gathered at the cemetery where his body was to be buried. Dignitaries from 4 corners of the world did gather to pay their last respect to the prince. Reports indicate that more than one million people had gathered to say farewell to their Amir. 
The former Saudi Foreign Minister Amir Saud al-Faisal passed away on Thursday night after a heart attack. He was 75 years old.
He served in the country’s foreign ministry for four decades and played an important role in resolving political crises, including reaching the Taef agreement that lead to the end of Lebanon civil war. He also witnessed numerous events in the region.
His last formal appearance was in the Sharm al-Sheikh conference in March where he criticized remarks made by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
