In an interview with Radio France International, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi reiterated, “The verdict of European Court of First Instance showed that the terrorist label against the PMOI has no legal and judicial base, and it is only a concession made to the mullahs to continue their rule”. She added, “Iranian opposition movement, the PMOI, although still in the list, however in the court’s view, the motivations for continuing the designation by the European Union is neither sufficient nor justified.
Maryam Rajavi said: “The decision made by the European Court of First Instance is the fifth ruling by the European courts for removing the PMOI from the black list of the EU, and puts an end to the unjust terrorist label against the PMO”I.
She added: “I warn the European Council of Ministers that by keeping the PMOI in the black list, the Council would endanger the lives of thousands of Iranian opposition members, and will be held responsible for that”.
