Transfer of Iranian regime MOIS and QF agents to Camp Liberty under pretext of residents’ families

Transfer of hirelings to Camp Liberty – No. 4
Tuesday morning, 9 June 2015, the Iranian regime’s embassy in Baghdad transferred a number of Iranian regime’s ministry of intelligence (MOIS) agents and terrorist Qods Force (QF) elements to the police station at Camp Liberty under the pretext of Liberty residents’ families. They were carrying with them placards against Camp Liberty residents. This transfer was implemented through assistance from Colonel Sadeq Mohammed Kadhim and Major Ahmed Khozair, agents of the Governmental Committee tasked to suppress Ashraf residents.
Prior, on April 14 and 21, other groups of these hirelings had been transferred to Liberty (NCRI statements on April 15, 22 and 23, 2015). These agents are brought to the camp while to approach the camp they have to go through several checkpoints that is possible only through the assistance of Iraqi security forces.
The objective followed by the presence of these hirelings in Iraq and their presence in Camp Liberty is to pave the way for the next massacres and bloodbaths at Liberty. Transfer of MOIS agents under the pretext of “residents’ families” is a repeated experience of past years’ series of massacres in Ashraf, including the massacre of 1 September 2013.
Iranian regime’s ambassador Hassan Danaifar has declared time and again in the past months that “he has continued with his endeavors to establish contact between the enchained members of the Rajavi sect and their families and that he would employ all the capacities of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq for the purpose” (MOIS websites – October and November 2014).
From February 2010 to December 2011, the Iranian regime dispatched groups of hirelings under the pretext of families of members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and stationed them beside Ashraf and was busy psychologically torturing Ashraf residents day and night with 320 loudspeakers.
The transfer of MOIS hirelings to Camp Liberty is while it is many years now that thousands of families of PMOI members have been unable to enter Iraq and meet with their loved ones despite their continuous referrals to Iraqi embassies in Europe and in the northern America.
While Government of Iraq has turned Camp Liberty into a prison and no one, even residents’ lawyers, are not permitted to enter the camp, the transfer of these hirelings to Liberty that has gravely imperiled the security of the residents is a blatant violation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between government of Iraq and the United Nations on 25 December 2011.
As numerously declared by the Iranian Resistance, it considers the interference of the Iranian regime in the residents’ file a red line for the residents and a criminal act and it calls on the U.S. government and the United Nations, based on their repeated and written commitments regarding the wellbeing and security of Camp Liberty residents, to urge Government of Iraq to cease these inimical measures and to strongly prevent the transfer of these hirelings to Camp Liberty and not permit the Iranian regime and its elements under the cloak of residents’ families to psychologically torture the Liberty residents who are all refugees that enjoy international protections.
