Scientists in the United States say an experimental drug has saved the lives of all three monkeys infected with the Ebola virus and that the same drug could be equally effective in humans.
Researchers say the monkeys were infected with the “Mocona” strain virus, which was responsible for the current outbreak in West Africa. They were given the experimental drug three days later, and survived.
