Iran is banning the feast of fire celebration out of fear of an uprising

Government sources quoted the State Security Force, SSF as saying that holding the feast of fire celebration on the last Wednesday of the year (March 18) is banned. The SSF chief unable to hide his fear of a fiery unrest on that day said the SSF is considering plans to ban and prevent fire crackers and firework ornaments to be sold or delivered to the town.
He asked the youth to sit down in their homes and just watch TVs and vaguely threatened the youth of encountering the Suppressive forces if they attempted to go out and have fun and play with fireworks.
