Dozens of residents Ahwaz, a major city south of Iran gathered in front of the governors' office to protest the authorities' inaction in dealing with the suffocating pollution and dust storms that has set in this area for past few days. Residents have been demonstrating every day and their protest continued today as well demanding an urgent action by the government to save their city.
The protesters used innovative means to show their anger towards the government by writing slogans over dust covered car windshields with their fingers.
Ahwazi residents on Friday also gathered in ;Qadir ; Sport Stadium in the city chanting anti-government slogans and holding placards with Farsi and Arabic language slogans written on them.
